Sky and Landscape UK Weekend Courses
The next courses will
be announced in the New Year (January 2008). They will explore an archaeological site
in West
Wales where evidence of prehistoric knowledge of the Sun and Moon exists. |

These weekend courses are
designed to enhance an ability to appreciate and assess ancient sites
within the landscape. No previous qualifications are required. Enjoy
learning in an unspoiled prehistoric
landscape, peppered with cists, standing stones, cairns and some
spectacular astronomic alignments.
Come and be part of this unfolding discovery in a truly wild and
enchanting coastal landscape. |

If you prefer, there is
accommodation for camper vans caravans or tents in the summer, by prior
arrangement.
It
is possible to extend your weekend so that you can take in more of this
spectacular region of Wales. |

Travel Arrangements
By Car: Full directions will be sent to you on receiving the
booking form, but West Wales is best reached by car. You should allow
about 2.5 hours from the Severn Bridge.
By Rail: Trains run to Aberystwyth

data on the astronomical and metrological significance of sites.
